Full job description
About Build
Build is a neofirm for the built world. We help the world's biggest institutions build faster by delivering work in a fraction of the time, at software margins. We have delivered over 400 projects across 20 countries for hyperscale operators, Fortune 500 companies, neoclouds, governments, and the world's largest institutional developers.
The pipeline is real. The product is working. We need someone to go find the next wave of customers and convert the waves of commercial partners that our already driving our pipeline.
This is a sales role. You will own new business from first contact to signed contract. You will work the referral network, follow the capital flows, and get in front of the people who are moving the most ambitious built projects in the world. Build is growing fast and inbound interest is scaling with it. You will be responsible for converting that inbound with the same urgency and discipline you bring to outbound.
What you will own
- Sourcing and closing new customers across digital infrastructure, industrial, and energy real estate
- Converting inbound leads quickly and effectively as Build's market presence scales
- Building and working a pipeline of developers, operators, institutional investors, and hyperscalers
- Running the full sales motion: outbound, qualification, discovery, proposal, close
- Working with the delivery team to scope engagements and set customers up for success from day one
- Feeding market intelligence back into the product and commercial teams: what are buyers asking for, what objections come up, what is the competition doing
- Representing Build at industry events, conferences, and in the rooms where deals get made
Who we are looking for
You have 3-6 years of commercial experience in real estate (data centers or brokerage preferred), infrastructure, or a related industry. You have sold something: a service, a platform, a mandate, to institutional buyers and you know how those conversations work. You understand how capital moves through the built world and you can talk credibly to a development director, a head of acquisitions, or a CIO.
You are comfortable running an outbound motion without a playbook. You are disciplined enough to manage a pipeline without being managed. You find the right people, get in front of them, and close.
