Job Duties

Design and develop backend applications using Golang and integrating with payment processors.

Organize the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment of payment systems supporting real-time (webhooks) and batch (cron-based) processing for transactions and chargebacks;

Review and/or write well-designed, testable, and efficient code in Golang, implementing concurrency, error handling, and idempotent processing for reliable transaction and chargeback systems;

Organize, document, and maintain software functionality, including REST (JSON), SOAP/XML integrations, and chargeback lifecycle and reconciliation processes;

Integrate software components into a fully functional software system using external processors(Stripe, Adyen, Fiserv, Cybersource) via REST, SOAP/XML, webhooks, and SFTP pipelines to support end-to-end payment and chargeback processing;

Evaluate and deploy software tools, processes, and metrics, including Prometheus, Grafana Loki, and Pyroscope to monitor performance, reliability, and transaction/chargeback systems;

Provide support and consulting on software systems usage and Troubleshoot production issues, analyze transaction and chargeback failures; and

Ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards, maintaining secure SFTP-based data transfers and data integrity across transaction, chargeback, and reconciliation systems.

Employee may work remotely from the employee’s residence, anywhere in the U.S., most of the time.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field of study
Minimum Experience Required
2 years as Software Engineer. Experience must include developing backend applications using Golang and integrating with payment processors.
