Job Description

Under the direct supervision of IT Manager, install, configure, administer, and maintain enterprise network and computer systems infrastructure across on-premises and cloud-based environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Design and implement cloud architectures and provision infrastructure resources including compute instances, storage, networking, and identity management. Automate infrastructure provisioning, server configuration, and deployment workflows using Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD pipelines. Administer and maintain Linux and Windows server environments, performing operating system installations, upgrades, security hardening, patch management, and performance tuning. Configure and manage containerized application workloads and orchestration platforms to support scalable application delivery. Implement and maintain enterprise monitoring, observability, and alerting systems to enable proactive incident detection, root cause analysis, and capacity planning. Conduct disaster recovery exercises, failover testing, and business continuity planning for mission-critical production systems. Develop automation scripts and reusable workflows to streamline system operations, health checks, and repetitive administrative tasks. Experience must include: LINUX, RHEL, AWS, Azure Cloud, Python, JIRA, Kubernetes, Docker, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Terraform, Ansible, GIT, Jenkins.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Engineering (Any), Science, or a closely related field with 1 year of relevant IT experience as a Computer / Engineering Professional or related. In lieu of the above, will also accept: completion of a two (2) year academic college degree program or an Associate’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics, Engineering (Any), Science, or a closely related field with 3 years of relevant IT experience as a Computer / Engineering Professional or related. Any suitable combination of education, training & experience is acceptable. Must be willing to work anywhere in the U.S. Job locations in Morristown, NJ & may involve relocation to various unanticipated client sites across the U.S.
