Full job description

Overview

The Retail Lending Systems Administrator is responsible for the oversight and management of the systems and applications utilized within the Retail Lending Operations Department, and for developing and implementing best practices to meet department production, compliance and service objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the systems administrator for all Retail Lending technologies, applications and integrations, including the bank’s loan origination systems. Provides tools and develops processes to enhance the customer experience, and provide the highest level of service and responsiveness.

  • Acts as the primary liaison to COCC with regards to the Encompass technology, fully leveraging the system to maximize efficiency and assure regulatory compliance.

  • Investigates and recommends new technology products for ongoing and future lending operations, or to maximize the capabilities of current systems.

  • Manages system releases/updates, tests new functionalities, communicates changes to end users and coordinates overall implementation.

  • Analyzes and documents system workflows, providing recommendations to management and creating solutions within the bank’s lending systems to improve workflow and reporting.

  • Works with management and team members and leads the process for determining and prioritizing possible system improvements and new capabilities. Builds, tests and implements enhancements such as business rules, custom input forms, workflows and third party integrations. Provides solutions for internal support issues, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.

  • Oversees assigned projects, such as the development and introduction of a new loan product or service or enhancements to existing ones.

  • Participates in the division planning and goal-setting process, helps to establish priorities and objectives and assists in the development of strategies to achieve them.

  • Helps to formulate and institute best practices for the division, with a focus on increased capacity. Participates in the development and updating of policies and procedures, and in particular, those facilitated and/or augmented through technology.

  • Ensures full compliance with the Bank’s Information Security Policies and Procedures.

  • Coordinates with Loan Servicing, Accounting and other areas of the bank that may require loan and financial data from the department systems.

  • Prepares and distributes a variety of recurring and special reports for use in the administration of the division, and to meet regulatory requirements in accordance with Bank Data Governance Standards.

  • Performs other duties as may be required.

Requirements

Education

  • Associate's Degree in business, information systems or a similar field of study, or equivalent work experience and/or specialized training is required

Work Experience

  • 3+ years experience in residential lending or bank operations is required

Additional Requirements

  • A working knowledge of, and extensive experience with, the bank’s loan origination software.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Expected Pay Range

The expected annual pay range for this role is $62,682 to $111,280. This pay range is the annual salary we in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation paid may fluctuate higher or lower than the posted range and the range may be modified in the future due to several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, certifications, and qualifications, internal equity, adjustments to the requirements and responsibilities of the job, business needs, and economic and market data.
