Typical Day in the Life
A typical day as a Business Credits & Incentives Associate might include the following:
Prepares specialty tax credit calculations and related tax credit forms by required deadlines.
Works with clients to ensure relevant tax credit-related information is gathered so that an accurate tax return can be prepared.
Reviews the tax position of clients from various angles to ensure the maximum benefit is applied.
Attends professional development and training seminars on a regular basis.
Interacts effectively with all levels of staff, clients, and other external business contacts.
Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
Who You Are
You are working towards or have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related major.
You are interested in the tax credits and incentives for those investing in alternative energy sources and producing alternative energy equipment!
You are an organized and can prioritize tasks according to deadlines.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
You're comfortable and experienced with working in a paperless environment.
You have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
You enjoy working with a team and you have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new things and accept new challenges.
You have a strong sense of urgency to handle a variety of projects and meet required deadlines, and you are able to deal with urgent and/or unexpected client matters that may arise.
You are excited to learn about services our Firm offers and are willing to make client connections.
You have a strong customer service mentality.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Compensation: $71,000-$80,000
Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
