Overview

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for improving installation quality across low-voltage construction projects by conducting field audits, developing training programs, supporting project teams, and ensuring work meets customer and company standards.

Key Responsibilities Conduct field quality inspections and audits on active projects Identify installation issues and partner with operations teams to resolve them Develop and deliver training for technicians and field teams Support First-of-Kind (FOK) installations and obtain customer approval Create and maintain project Quality Plans and startup processes Manage customer and internal quality checklists and documentation Perform daily and weekly site quality reviews and reporting Participate in customer walkthroughs and project inspections Drive quality improvements and standardization across projects Provide hands-on field coaching and technical support

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of training, quality, or field leadership experience Experience in low-voltage, telecommunications, electrical, or structured cabling environments Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents Experience performing quality inspections and audits on construction projects Strong communication and documentation skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver's license and ability to travel 5+ years of quality, operations, or leadership experience Data center or mission-critical construction experience BICSI certification or BICSI Trainer certification Experience developing training programs and field onboarding Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber, and low-voltage installation standards Understanding of construction project lifecycle and quality processes
