Full job description
What You'll Do
-
Manage multiple commercial accounts simultaneously — track renewals, open items, and client follow-ups across your full book

Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and handle endorsement requests accurately and quickly
-
Review policies for accuracy at issuance; catch and correct errors before they reach the client

Maintain clean, complete account records in the agency management system

Coordinate with producers on renewals, remarketing, and new business support

Flag recurring carrier or process issues so they get fixed upstream
You Might Be a Fit If…
-
You have 2+ years of account management experience at a retail commercial lines agency or brokerage
-
You've worked commercial P&C lines: GL, BOP, WC, Commercial Auto, Umbrella, and related coverages
-
You've issued COIs, processed endorsements, and managed policy documentation hands-on
-
You're comfortable working directly with underwriters — following up, negotiating, escalating when needed

You hold an active P&C license (or can obtain one quickly)

You're detail-oriented and accurate even when the volume is high
Requirements

2+ years of commercial lines account management at a retail agency or independent

Strong communication skills — clear, professional, and patient

Ability to manage a high-volume book without dropping items

Commercial lines experience is required; we are not able to consider candidates with exclusively personal lines backgrounds
Nice to Have

Experience with specialty or hard-to-place markets

Familiarity with agency management systems (AMS360, Applied Epic, or similar)

Bilingual (Spanish)

Location: Remote or San Francisco, in-office

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8–10 hour shifts
