What You'll Do

As a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Pre/Post Unit, you will provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure monitoring, recovery, and patient education. Nurses in this role play a critical part in ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes for patients receiving advanced cardiovascular care.

  • Recover and monitor patients following complex electrophysiology and structural heart procedures, including A-Fib ablations and TAVRs

  • Manage sheath removals, vascular access sites, and post-procedure hemodynamic stability

  • Administer and monitor IV medications, including cardiac drips and anticoagulants

  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, structural heart teams, anesthesiology providers, and procedural staff to ensure seamless patient care

  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, medications, and ongoing cardiac health management

  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining safety and clinical excellence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience caring for cardiac patients in an acute care, critical care, procedural, or recovery setting

  • Previous experience recovering patients following cardiac procedures, including EP procedures, A-Fib ablations, cardiac catheterizations, and TAVRs

  • PACU experience highly preferred

  • Strong assessment skills, critical thinking abilities, and comfort managing patients during the immediate post-procedure recovery phase

  • Passion for cardiovascular nursing and commitment to exceptional patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
