How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Supervise unit staffing, coordinate shift workflows, and ensure the consistent implementation of clinical objectives and high-quality OR patient care.

  • Assign, direct, monitor, and educate nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, while actively contributing to hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

  • Assess daily patient needs to develop and distribute population-appropriate care assignments while identifying and resolving any issues affecting patient outcomes.

  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of patient care interventions and address clinical or service complaints through established organizational channels.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.

One or more of the following:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experiencerequired.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • RN with at least 5 years of OR Experience, Certification (CNOR) encouraged
