Full job description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Translate organizational training needs into courses. You will report to the Curriculum and Systems Senior Manager.

Hybrid Schedule of 80% On-Site and 20% Remote | Monday-Friday | 8:00am-4:30pm

Salary: $69,700/ Year

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will design detailed educational curriculum, including schedule, topics, and number of hours required per course.

  2. Create engaging training course content for all methods of delivery (i.e. instructor-led, e-learning)

  3. Set learning goals compliant with Bloom’s taxonomy for each course

  4. Determine evaluation criteria

  5. You will organize physical and digital resources for instructors and trainees

  6. Provide manuals and guidelines on how to use all training materials

  7. Conduct needs assessments

  8. Follow up with trainees and instructors after each course and collect feedback

  9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or Education related field or equivalent experience in job related field or 4 years related experience.

  • Skills using Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Storyline.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to both e-learning and instructor-led learning programs

  • 2 years demonstrated proficiency in designing, building and deploying instructor learning modules using current technology

  • Experience with video production tools, media design (animation, instructional videos, sound editing), and photography
