Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and efficiently.
-
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to oncology patients of all ages.
-
Identify and properly label, handle, and process specimens according to established standards.
-
Monitor patients during and after blood draws and respond appropriately to concerns or complications.

Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely specimen delivery to the laboratory.
-
Collaborate with nurses, providers, laboratory staff, and the broader care team to support quality patient care.
Qualifications
Education:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Must be 18 years old
Experience:
-
Previous phlebotomy experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
-
Successful completion of a phlebotomy, MA or EMT course is preferred
