Part-Time PM Resident Assistant

Entry Level

$19.19–$22.25/hour based on experience, plus a sign-on bonus. Join the PM team at Vista Prairie at Fieldcrest, an assisted living and memory care community in Sheldon, where you'll get to know every resident by name.

We're hiring a part-time Resident Assistant for evenings, 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. You'll help residents with the personal care that lets them live with dignity, and you'll be part of the team that makes their evenings feel like home.

What you'll do:

  • Help residents with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene

  • Support residents with mobility and safe transfers

  • Administer medications as directed, in accordance with Iowa regulations and your certification

  • Create positive, meaningful moments during evening routines

  • Watch for changes in residents' condition and report them to the care team

What you'll need:

Required:

  • 16 year olds are Welcome to apply to work 4PM - 10PM

  • Able to read, write, and follow care instructions accurately

  • Reliable transportation to and from the community

  • Pass a background check

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 1+ year of experience in assisted living, memory care, or another health care setting

Pay and benefits:

  • $19.19–$22.25/hour, based on experience

  • $800 sign-on bonus for PM shift working 40+ hours per pay period

Schedule:

Part-time, PM shift, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm. Rotates biweekly: Week 1, Wednesday and Friday. Week 2, Saturday and Sunday.
