Responsibilities

As a Farm/Crop Insurance Sales Intern, you will gain exposure to the farm and crop insurance sales process while building an understanding of agricultural risk management and customer service. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to projects that support business growth and client engagement.

As a Farm/Crop Insurance Sales Intern, you may:

  • Learn about the farm and crop insurance sales process and the role insurance plays in protecting agricultural operations.

  • Observe and shadow experienced farm insurance agents during customer interactions and sales activities.

  • Participate in county and state-level agricultural events, trade shows, and marketing opportunities.

  • Develop talking points and sales support materials to assist with client outreach efforts.

  • Research and build a farm opportunity database to identify prospects and support business growth initiatives.
