Job Details: Job Location: UT Corp - Orem, UT, Salary Range: $16.00 - $20.00Hourly, ION Solar is one of the nation's fastest-growing, full-service residential solar companies. With offices in eight states across the country and a growing workforce of over 700 employees, ION Solar is providing a simple, affordable way for homeowners to switch to solar.
A Design Validation Specialist contributes to Ion Solar by confirming solar designs with customers, handling any changes to the system layout/size and completing financing change orders throughout the solar process.
Responsibilities:
A Design Validation Specialist has the following responsibilities and duties:
Call customers once their final design is created to confirm their layout
Assist customers with the layout of the panels to provide maximum production and aesthetics
Process financial changes
Create and retrieve updated contract documents
Communicate changes and issues effectively with sales representatives in the field
Field inbound customer calls with design inquiries
Qualifications:
A Design Validation specialist should have the following skills, education and experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Salesforce experience
Experience in Customer Service or customer facing roles
Strong communication skills including: relationship building, active listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Reliability and regular attendance
Computer literacy
Solar experience preferred, but not required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to adapt to changes
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced, open floor office environment with significant computer and phone usage. Utilization of complex systems. Speed and accuracy are essential to the successful completion of tasks.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Regular requirement to talk, or hear; frequent requirement to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. May encounter interruptions throughout the work day.
