We are currently looking for aFinancial Analyst (Temporary Position)to join our Finance team atKulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah.

The successful candidate will support the Business Controller in the preparation of management accounting reports and financial analyses to facilitate business planning and performance management. Key responsibilities include the development, analysis, and reporting of forecasts, budgets, business plans, and other management reports.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across the organization.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact in this role:

  • Prepare monthly closing report including Finished Good Gloves movement reconciliation, materials wastage analysis, calculate & update average cost in the system, Journal Entry. Run and print all closing reports (from Data3 / JBA system).

  • To prepare and analyze the departmental operating expenses (OPEX). Controllable distribution and provide breakdown analysis when requested.

  • To prepare monthly Government Statistical Reports and any ad-hoc request related to Statistical reports (MM47 survey, GRE, RC)

  • Prepare monthly Customs reports and any ad-hoc request related to Customs reports.

  • To assist in preparation of quarterly and yearly forecast reports.

  • To carry out quarterly/yearly stock take and perform the stock reconciliation.

  • To assist in preparation of yearly Business Plan and Budget.

  • To update standard cost and transfer pricing into the system. (also update SC &CC for new part numbers)

  • Update and calculate DPNR & NR latex receiving month end valuation.

  • To assist in preparing and uploading einvoice to LHDN.

  • To perform other duties that may be assigned by Finance Manager and Management Accountant.

  • Work closely with IT Department for improvement and problem solving on computerized Management Accounting system.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or Management Finance or any related field including LCCI Certification.

Experience

  • Good analytical and systematic approach of solving problems.

  • Good computer skill.

  • Well versed with numbers and figures, be able to relate data from one report to another.
