As an Armed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident response. This driving position combines customer service, clear communication, and sound judgment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution terminal location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of terminal buildings, gates, roadways, loading areas, tank farm perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

• Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel and vehicle entry, and document visitor, contractor, delivery, and incident information in accordance with site requirements.

• Maintain required firearms qualifications and equipment, complete accurate reports, and communicate security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
