Pay or shift range: $23 USD to $25 USD

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

ProAmpac is seeking a multi-site Customer Operations Assistant to join our team! This position will initially train onsite at our Neenah and Wrightstown, WI facilities , with the opportunity to transition to a remote or hybrid work arrangement following training.

Location: Remote | (Must be available to Train in Neenah, WI)

Hours: Monday – Friday | 8am – 4pm

Wage: $22 - $25+/hour (Based on Experience)

Position Summary:

  • The Customer Operations Assistant supports the Customer Operations team in delivering a high level of service to key and strategic accounts. This role provides day-to-day administrative and operational support helping ensure customer orders, account information, reporting, and internal requests are handled accurately and efficiently.

  • The Customer Operations Assistant will work closely with internal teams including Customer Operations, Scheduling, Quality, Operations, Sales, and other plant functions to gather information, investigate issues, maintain account data, and support the overall needs of assigned accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day support to Customer Operations Representatives across a select group of key and strategic customer accounts.

  • Assists with order entry and order management , ensuring information is entered accurately and maintained appropriately.

  • Creates and maintains customer status reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and other account documentation .

  • Pulls, organizes, and analyzes account and operational data to support customer requests and internal decision-making.

  • Investigates order, production, quality, scheduling, and delivery questions by gathering information from appropriate internal teams.

  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Scheduling, Quality, Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and plant personnel to obtain information and assist the customer operations team resolve issues.

  • Maintains accurate customer and order information within applicable systems and ensures documentation is current.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Customer service, administrative support, order management, manufacturing, or similar experience preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy , particularly when working with orders, customer information, and large amounts of data.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working with spreadsheets, reports, and data.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and changing needs.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a willingness to investigate issues rather than simply escalate them.

  • Approachable and collaborative, with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments .

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative while knowing when to ask questions or seek additional guidance.

  • Coachable and receptive to feedback , with an interest in continued learning and development.
