Full job description

Roanoke, VA is calling—and if you’re energized by warehouse operations, accuracy, and leading day-to-day execution, you’ll fit right in. Our client, Distribution & Logistics, is seeking a Distribution Lead I to join their team. As a Distribution Lead I, I’ll be part of the warehouse operations team, supporting daily workflow across an operational area. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, a commitment to inventory accuracy, and the drive to keep inbound and outbound processes moving efficiently.

Location:Roanoke, VA

Duration: 2-3 months

Pay Range:$29/hr on W2

What's the Job?

  • Oversee many of the daily activities for an account, department, or station of a warehouse operation.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy while adhering to quality standards and ensuring effective use of staff.

  • Oversee inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow activities to support smooth operations.

  • Track operational efficiency and help ensure work completion within the assigned operational area.

  • Support consistent execution of warehouse processes to meet performance expectations.

What's Needed?

  • Experience supporting warehouse operations, including inbound flow, inventory control, and outbound flow.

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy and quality standards.

  • Ability to lead and coordinate staff effectively to keep work moving and completed on time.

  • Comfort tracking operational efficiency and using that information to improve execution.

  • Reliable, safety-minded work habits and the ability to follow established procedures.
