Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Clinical Admin Coordinator / Referral Coordinator in California for a fully remote opportunity. This position supports the referral and authorization process by coordinating requests, managing member and provider inquiries, and ensuring timely processing of cases in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Position: Referral Coordinator (Single Case Agreements)

Location: Remote / Telecommute

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
-
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time
-
Occasional evening coverage may be required
-
Interview Process: Video interview with the Hiring Manager via Microsoft Teams
Responsibilities
-
Manage intake of member referrals and admission/discharge notifications
-
Coordinate requests for services with hospitals, clinics, facilities, providers, and internal teams
-
Process incoming and outgoing referrals, authorizations, and case documentation
-
Provide outreach, triage support, and referral coordination activities
-
Assist members and providers with inquiries and issue resolution
-
Maintain accurate records and documentation while meeting productivity and quality standards
-
Work effectively in a high-volume, customer service-focused environment
Required Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
At least 1 year of customer service experience resolving customer concerns
-
At least 1 year of experience with medical referrals, authorizations, insurance processing, or non-clinical care coordination
-
Working knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT codes
-
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in healthcare, managed care, or health insurance settings
-
Clerical or administrative support experience
-
Medicare and/or Medicaid experience
-
Call center, medical assistant, or customer outreach experience
-
Strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work queues in a fast-paced environment
-
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
