SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR

This innovative division encompasses multiple departments including human resources, marketing, facilities, inclusive engagement strategies, organizational learning and development, and corporate social responsibility. The candidate for this position will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the production, facilitation and execution of large scale and signature special events.

  • Directing special ticket and stay opportunities year-round.

  • Assisting with concept creation, site selection, budget development, vendor coordination, expense management, setup, breakdown, hospitality and post-event evaluation.

  • Coordinating details for a variety of internal employee events in all markets.

Requirements for the position include:

  • A minimum of two years demonstrated event experience

  • Creative, highly organized, and detail-oriented thinker who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative team environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Experience with professional problem-solving, multi-tasking and working with deadlines

  • The ability to anticipate needs and work independently on tasks

  • Property management experience a plus

  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend hours and to travel when necessary

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Three+ years of demonstrated event experience
