ShiftMonday – Friday, Day Shift; 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (40 hrs/wk)

Job SummaryThe Respiratory Therapist Senior/Sleep Center/UKHC provides competent care of patients through airway management, various CPAP/BIPAP therapies, oxygen administration, and performing polysomnography studies in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) and departmental policies and procedures. General duties will include: registering patients; gathering patient pre-study paperwork; preparing patients and equipment for procedures; explaining procedures and interactions to patients; completing follow-up notes as needed; performing polysomnography studies and analyzing data to assist in obtaining proper diagnosis; entering charges; and cleaning all study equipment. This position will also have some administrative and clerical responsibilities for the daily operations of the department. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience.
