Job Description

Kick-start your manufacturing career with a hands-on role in metal fabrication. As a General Production Worker , you'll support welding, powder coating, inspections, machine operation, and general production tasks while gaining valuable skills and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Spot weld and powder coat parts to quality standards.

• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.

• Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.

• Use hand and power tools for fabrication and assembly.

• Assist with packaging, material handling, and general production support.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow work instructions and learn new skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Experience with hand tools, production work, or fabrication is a plus.

• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic.

• Welding or metal fabrication experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Fast-paced metal fabrication facility working with welding equipment, sheet metal, and production machinery. Safety-focused environment with hands-on, active work throughout the shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Durham, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
