Full job description

City/State Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: The Legal Fellow will support the legal team by conducting research, drafting documents, and assisting with legal operations. This role offers hands-on experience in various areas of healthcare law, providing exposure to real-world legal matters in a professional setting.

  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on a wide range of legal topics

  • Assist in reviewing, organizing, and summarizing legal documents and contracts

  • Support litigation efforts, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, and legal correspondence

  • Attend meetings, hearings, or depositions when applicable

  • Maintain and update legal files and databases

  • Monitor regulatory and legislative developments relevant to the organization

  • Perform tasks to support special legal projects as needed

Education:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited law school within the previous 12 months, and be eligible to take the July Bar Exam in Virginia.
  • Juris Doctor (Required)
