Role Specific Information

Job Description

This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

About the Role As Director, Digital HR Strategy & People Analytics you will develop the strategy for the HR Digital roadmap, as well as connecting all HR technologies for a seamless user experience. You will be setting the integration and innovation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into human resource practices within the Kohl’s organization. You will manage the day-to-day functional Workday operations, including people analytics reporting, and driving an analytics discipline across people strategies to enable business objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide thought leadership and acts as a subject matter expert in the design and recommendation of HR Digital strategy and people analytics solutions

  • Collaborate with analysts and report developers to improve data models that support business objectives and strategies

  • Manage external vendor relationships with HR technology providers, including negotiations, regular oversight and enforcement on contractual obligations

  • Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns and insights that inform decision-making through the life cycle of Kohl’s associates

  • Ensure operational excellence across the team in key processes and deliverables within the data analytics organization

  • Establishes the strategy for technology and analytical tools to develop and analyze enterprise wide people and other cross functional data as needed

  • Identify opportunities for automation, consolidation and simplification in both analytics and technology platforms

  • Develop the case-for-change, including a business case, that covers people, process, technology and data for enterprise HR transformations

  • Establish project teams & lead multiple improvement initiatives from initiation, analysis, solution design and execution and deliver on success criteria

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR leaders, business process owners, and Technology team to gather requirements, define system specifications and recommend effective solutions

  • Additional tasks may be assigned

What Skills You Have Required

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of trends on new HR technologies and other technologies

  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources and/or Human Resource Information systems

  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field

  • Proficiency in HCM (Workday) and other HRIS Systems
