Job Description A Senior International Accountant is a highly experienced accounting professional responsible for managing complex financial transactions across multiple international entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth operations in diverse global markets; key duties often include overseeing foreign exchange transactions, managing intercompany accounting, and analyzing international financial data to provide strategic insights to leadership.

Senior International Accountant Pay Rate: $110 000-130 000

We are seeking a Senior International Accountant to support various aspects of international tax reporting and compliance, including assisting with tax provisions related to global income, foreign tax credits, and transfer pricing. This role offers exposure to both international and domestic tax matters and provides an opportunity to contribute to strategic tax planning in a rapidly growing public company following a recent merger. What You Bring:

  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Self-starter mindset with a desire to learn and stay current on tax regulations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate across global offices.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of technical issues related to foreign subsidiaries of a multinational company.

  • Experience with international tax filings, including forms related to foreign entities.

  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing matters.

  • Experience with tax provisions and international tax compliance.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or tax; CPA preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in international tax with a willingness to expand into other tax areas.

  • Experience in public accounting or corporate tax is a plus.
