How you will make contributions that matter:

Join our team at the Leongatha site as a Stores & Inventory Management Officer, where you’ll play a key role in supporting maintenance reliability and operational efficiency through effective inventory and procurement management.

This hands-on role involves managing tools, parts and consumables, maintaining inventory accuracy, and working closely with maintenance and supply chain teams to keep our Leongatha site running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, store, and issue inventory including tools, mechanical and electrical parts

  • Maintain accurate stock levels and records using SAP and CMMS systems

  • Conduct stocktakes and cycle counts to achieve a high level of inventory accuracy

  • Raise purchase orders and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery

  • Support maintenance teams with parts availability for planned and reactive work

  • Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely (Forklift licence required for the role)

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient store layout aligned with industry principles

  • Bring suggestions and ideas to help improve store processes and drive operational change

About you:

  • Experience in stores, warehousing, or inventory control

  • Experience and knowledge of industrial or manufacturing settings will be highly regarded

  • Understanding of mechanical/electrical parts and vendor relationships

  • Forklift licence - Mandatory

  • Proficiency with SAP or similar inventory/CMMS systems

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and safety mindset

  • IT literacy and ability to work independently

  • A proactive approach with a drive to improve systems and support the team
