Experience Level: Senior (Level 3) - Minimum 10 years experience

Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Location: National Capital Region (NCR) or San Antonio, TX

The Senior Subject Matter Expert provides advanced operational expertise, leading the translation of complex mission requirements into implementable features. This position serves as a key liaison between operational users and development teams, ensuring the unified solution meets the sophisticated needs of offensive cyber operations across multiple mission types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational requirements analysis and decomposition

  • Provide strategic guidance on mission workflow implementation

  • Validate feature implementations against operational needs

  • Lead user acceptance testing and validation efforts

  • Develop comprehensive training programs and materials

  • Conduct operational assessments and provide recommendations

  • Support PI Planning with operational context and priorities

  • Lead demonstrations to operational stakeholders

  • Mentor junior SMEs and development team members

  • Support deployment and user onboarding activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in offensive cyber operations

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent substitution)

  • Deep expertise in OCO missions, tools, and methodologies

  • Experience defining operational requirements for software systems

  • Strong understanding of automation and orchestration in cyber operations

  • Excellent communication and training skills

  • Experience working with cross-functional development teams

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Must be U.S. citizen

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
