Job Description

A healthcare organization in the San Diego area is seeking a Program Manager with experience supporting large hospital facilities, healthcare infrastructure initiatives, and hardware deployment projects. This is a long-term contract through June 2028, hybrid on site every other Thursday the first few months, then moving to onsite intermittently/when needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading healthcare technology deployment initiatives across hospitals, clinics, and medical office buildings. This individual will oversee infrastructure readiness, hardware deployment, technical dress rehearsals, testing activities, and go-live preparation efforts. Daily responsibilities include: Leading hardware and infrastructure deployment activities across hospitals and clinics

Coordinating workstation, printer, and peripheral deployment efforts

Managing technical readiness events, including Technical Dress Rehearsals (TDRs) and go-live activities

Ensuring devices are installed, configured, connected, and operational within Epic

Partnering with facilities, infrastructure, and operational teams to prepare sites for activation

Validating end-to-end workflows, testing, and operational readiness before go-live

Skills and Requirements

Healthcare IT program management experience supporting large hospital building openings, expansions, or technology deployments.

Experience overseeing hardware deployment and infrastructure readiness

Experience coordinating Technical Dress Rehearsals (TDRs) and go-live readiness

Familiarity with Epic environments/Epic peripherals

Experience managing workstation deployment, imaging, printer deployment, device connectivity, and end-user readiness

Ability to oversee end-to-end deployment activities, including equipment receipt, installation, deployment, testing, network connectivity, Epic connectivity, and workflow validation

Experience coordinating across infrastructure, facilities, clinical operations, and technical teams
