Radiation Therapist – Greenbrae, CA

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 40 hours): Hourly $34.47, Stipend (Lodging $1,183.00 + M&I $644.00) = $1,827.00,

Total Comp :$3,205.80

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

  • 5 x 8 hrs (Monday through Friday) day shift with 0700-0800 start time

  • 40 hrs / week

Radiation Therapist Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans.

  • Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment safely and effectively.

  • Position and immobilize patients accurately to ensure proper treatment delivery.

  • Review treatment plans and verify patient information before each treatment.

  • Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to any concerns or changes.

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient treatment records and documentation.

  • Follow radiation safety procedures and established clinical protocols.

  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any equipment issues or malfunctions.

  • Properly setup andalign patients using various imaging techniques to delivery radiationtherapy treatments as prescribed.

  • Assesses patient statusduring direct patient interaction and makes appropriate referrals tovarious health care team members.

  • Prepares for treatmentdelivery, including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations,electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) check, treatment calendar (includingprogramming port films etc.).

  • Performs patient set-upand CT scan for radiation therapy treatment planning purposes, as needed.

  • Works closely withother radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks,as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years of minimum Radiation Oncology experience

  • Active State License.

  • Must have ARRT and CA RTT license

  • BLS/BCLS

  • Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred.

  • Additional certifications may be required.

  • Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
