Full job description

Possesses knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and commercial contracting principles. Demonstrates expert skill in managing a personal portfolio. Advises account teams on contract administration matters. Serves as a business advisor to account teams on all parts of Federal contract administration. Handles complex and high-value sub-contract matters that impact Firm revenue and retention. Uses independent judgment and analysis to resolve significant issues. Provides advisory subcontracts support to account leadership. Shapes and strengthens win strategies on Federal engagements. Performs strategic subcontract negotiations and completes various subcontract projects. Connects with strategic subcontract companies and maintains collaborative relationships with them.

Reviews and analyzes subcontracts to ensure understanding and inform the team's strategy. Compiles and analyzes subcontract data. Enters data in several internal databases and maintains historical information and documentation.

Proactively identifies and analyzes subcontracting issues. Solves standard and routine subcontract activities. Keeps teams fully informed on all subcontract standards, plans, and policies. Develops and maintains subcontract files according to government regulations and Deloitte's procurement policies. Ensures timely filing and reporting of subcontract data entry into various systems. Monitors data updates.

  • Supporting contract administration activities for strategic enterprise contract vehicles across Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice

  • Coordinating with Contracts professionals, Project Engagement Leadership, Enabling Solutions points of contact, and internal stakeholders to support compliant contract management and operational execution

  • Managing contract documentation, reporting, and workflow activities required to administer enterprise contract vehicles

  • Monitoring contract requirements, deliverables, and operational activities to support alignment with internal policies and contractual obligations

  • Identifying contract administration issues, escalating risks, and supporting resolution activities across stakeholders

The team

The Enterprise Contract Management & Operations team is responsible for contract administration activities supporting strategic enterprise contract vehicles across Deloitte's Government and Public Services practice. This role will work directly with Contracts professionals, Project Engagement Leadership, Enabling Solutions points of contact, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate the information and decisions required to support compliant contract management and operational execution

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, category management, contract administration, or contract operations supporting IT (Hardware/Software/Cloud Hosting) goods/product purchases

  • 3+ years of experience supporting contract compliance, contract documentation, or operational execution activities

  • Experience supporting enterprise contract vehicles, strategic sourcing activities, or contract administration processes

  • Review software and reseller terms and conditions to identify and mitigate negotiation risks between Suppliers and Deloitte

  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to support contract management activities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting Government and Public Services contracts or programs

  • Experience with enterprise contract management processes in a professional services environment

  • Experience tracking contract requirements, documentation, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders

  • Experience leading workstreams or project-based operational activities

  • Experience with procurement operations, supplier management, or category management support

  • Experience identifying and escalating contract administration risks or issues

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $155,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
