Note: Eligibility for benefits may vary by location and is determined by employment status Job Summary The Market Director of Patient Safety provides strategic leadership for patient safety, high reliability, event management, and harm reduction initiatives across multiple hospitals and ambulatory settings within a market or region. This role collaborates with executive leadership, medical staff, quality leaders, risk management, and clinical operations to foster a culture of safety, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce preventable harm, and drive continuous performance improvement. Dotted line reporting structure to Corporate Patient Safety Director.

Qualifications : REQUIRED EDUCATION: Master's Degree Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Quality Management, or related field required MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 7 years of combined experience in clinical practice and progressive healthcare leadership experience with 2 years of experience in Patient Safety, Quality, Risk Management, or healthcare operations PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Multi-facility, market, or system level leadership experience strongly preferred REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: CPPS certification PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/REGISTRATION: Additional Certification such as CPHRM or CPHQ EEO Statement: Employment practices will not be influenced or affected by an applicant’s or employee’s race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status or any other legally protected status.
