Full job description

Join the team at Adecco and play an essential role in supporting Los Angeles County’s election efforts! We are actively seeking dependable, customer-focused Election Support Specialists to assist at local vote centers during the upcoming election period. This short-term opportunity offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a chance to contribute to a vital civic process.

Position Details:

  • Location: La Puente, CA (Los Angeles County, District 5)

  • Duration: Short-term assignment (5 to 12 days)

  • Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

  • Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour + available overtime

  • Type: Project / Short-term assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support at voting centers during elections to ensure smooth operations

  • Monitor and troubleshoot election equipment to guarantee proper functioning

  • Resolve or escalate technical issues promptly to minimize disruption

  • Document incidents accurately using the established ticketing system

  • Support election staff and voters with assistance as needed

Schedule & Commitment:

  • Complete mandatory in-person and online training sessions before deployment

  • Work full 12-hour shifts daily throughout the assignment

  • Demonstrate flexibility to work overtime during peak voting periods to meet operational needs

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent

  • Over 1 year of customer service or technical support experience

  • Comfortable using mobile devices such as iPads and Android/iOS smartphones

  • Strong team player with effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
