Job Description Summary

The Manufacturing Specialist - Production Supervision is responsible for supporting and supervising daily shop floor operations to ensure production goals, safety standards, quality requirements, and delivery targets are consistently achieved. This role provides front-line leadership to production personnel, coordinates resources, resolves operational issues, and drives continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. Based in Findlay Township, PA, this position works closely with production teams, maintenance, quality, engineering, and materials teams to maintain efficient operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capability, operational discipline, technical problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily shop floor activities to ensure production schedules, output targets, and customer delivery requirements are met.

  • Coordinate production manpower, materials, and equipment to support efficient workflow and minimize downtime.

  • Monitor daily operations and adjust work assignments to maintain productivity and operational continuity.

  • Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with established quality standards, work instructions, and process requirements.

  • Provide front-line leadership, guidance, and support to shop floor employees, fostering a positive team environment focused on safety, quality, and collaboration.

  • Support onboarding, training, and development of production employees to build capability and performance.

  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, EHS procedures, and manufacturing safety standards.

  • Partner with Quality teams to ensure products meet specifications and support investigations into production deviations.

  • Drive continuous improvement activities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and improve shop floor performance.

  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as output, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field; OR a High School Diploma/GED with at least7 years of professional, hands-on experiencein manufacturing or production management.

  • Relevant Experience: For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of5+ years of relevant experienceis required.

  • Technical Proficiency: Experience utilizing SAP in a manufacturing environment is required.

  • Operations Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Quality Leadership: Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality improvements across manufacturing operations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Collaborative Leader: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, logistics) to ensure seamless operations.

Relocation Assistance Provided: No

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $81,700.00 and $136,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
