Systems Engineer – Avionics
Relocation: Assistance available
Travel: Up to 25%, domestic and international

Key Responsibilities
-
Develop technical documentation including specifications, diagrams, proposals, plans, and qualification documents.
-
Translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
-
Set up and test proof-of-concept systems.
-
Create system configuration files from customer diagrams.
-
Support customer installations, demonstrations, and trade shows.
-
Develop test cases and procedures and improve testing methodologies.
-
Troubleshoot and replicate customer issues.
-
Develop Python scripts for automated testing.
-
Perform software updates, diagnostics, and remote technical support.
-
Resolve or escalate customer technical issues.
-
Maintain customer relationships and provide technical guidance.
-
Participate in an on-call support rotation.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
-
4+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
-
Experience working with both hardware and software products.
-
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
-
Customer-facing technical support or systems integration experience.
-
Experience in aerospace or another regulated environment.
-
Willingness to travel up to 25%.
Preferred / Standout Experience
-
Audio/video systems, networking, avionics, or aircraft wiring diagrams.
-
System architecture and qualification documentation.
-
Test case development and automated testing.
-
Python, XML, databases, networking, and error-log analysis.
-
Customer installations, trade shows, demonstrations, and field troubleshooting.
Schedule

Flexible start/end times with core hours of 9:00 AM–2:00 PM.

5 days × 8 hours

4 days × 10 hours

Hybrid: 4 days onsite + 1 day remote
