Job Summary: Provides clinical and administrative support to medical staff and patients, with a primary focus on clinical tasking, medication refills, prior authorizations, patient communication, and other assigned clinical office duties.

Job Description:

Schedule: Day Shift | 32–40 hours per week | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with hours negotiable

What You'll Do

  • Manage clinical tasking and respond to patient and provider requests in a timely manner.

  • Process medication refill requests and communicate with patients and pharmacies as needed.

  • Complete prior authorizations and coordinate required documentation with insurance companies and other healthcare providers.

  • Communicate with patients by phone and other appropriate methods to provide information, follow up on care needs, and address questions.

  • Document patient communications, clinical activities, and follow-up appropriately in the medical record.

  • Monitor and communicate relevant patient information to medical staff for review and follow-up.

  • Perform other clinical and administrative duties as assigned to support the care team.

What You Bring

  • Previous Work Experience: Work experience as a Medical Assistant.

  • Certification: Certified by an accredited Medical Assistant program.

  • Education: Possession of an associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities

  • A team-focused mindset with a patient-first approach

Compensation Information: $20.65 - $36.14

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
