Job Description
-
Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility
-
Enter and manage patient information within company systems
-
Prepare required patient documentation prior to evaluations
-
Support front office teams with insurance and authorization questions
-
Track and monitor patient authorizations as required by insurance plans
-
Communicate insurance benefit information to patients and team when needed
-
Share updates with the team on insurance changes, policies, and processes
-
Support ongoing improvements to systems and workflows
-
Assist with insurance re-verification when needed
-
Perform audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with verification and authorization processes
Qualifications
-
Previous experience in healthcare, medical office, or insurance verification preferred
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
-
Strong organizational and time-management skills
-
Comfortable working with multiple software systems and databases
-
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
