SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of the Physical Security Investigator is to investigate and document physical security cases across the First Horizon footprint. Other responsibilities include addressing physical security incidents, assisting with physical security projects, conducting physical security training, conducting branch risk assessments, and responding to crisis events. The candidate will also participate in Physical Security team projects and assist with security system reviews as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Investigate both internal and external physical security incidents, including workplace violence cases and subpoena requests, and document the requisite case files on those investigations.

  • Liaison with local, state, and federal law enforcement to file reports and follow up on open investigations.

  • Assist in conducting annual or bi-annual branch site risk assessments.

  • Assist Corporate Security management with physical security projects.

  • Assist Corporate Security management with development of the workplace violence and threat intelligence program.

  • Assist with Disaster Recovery planning and implementation during crisis events.

  • Conduct periodic branch reviews to ensure that security standards are being followed.

  • Provide periodic security training to branch and market personnel when assigned.

  • Assist with inventory and maintain electronic security equipment for storage and deployment.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned and able to be on call as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

  1. Bachelor (4-year college) degree

  2. 7-10 years of experience

  3. ASIS (PCI, APP, PSP) certification

COMPUTER AND OFFICE EQUIPMENT SKILLS

  1. Microsoft Office suite

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)
