Seneca Health Care Center is looking to add a Dietary Aide to its team. In this role, you’ll help provide high-quality meal service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for residents, visitors, and staff. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve meals according to resident dietary needs, portion guidelines, and established meal schedules

Assist with food preparation, portioning, and distribution of meals, snacks, beverages, and nourishments

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, equipment, dishes, utensils, and workspaces

Operate dietary equipment safely and accurately record food, beverage, and equipment temperatures

Assist with inventory, stocking, receiving, and proper storage of food and supplies
-
Transport meal carts and food trucks throughout the facility in a safe and timely manner
-
Accommodate resident preferences and special dietary requests whenever possible

Follow food safety, infection control, HIPAA, safety, and facility policies and procedures

Report equipment issues, hazards, accidents, and resident concerns to the appropriate supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Some food service experience
-
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, and staff
