Position Title: Data Architect-Mid

Location: Redstone Arsenal

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Mid-Level Data Architect to design, develop, and maintain data architectures that support complex technical and mission requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with data modeling, database design, data integration, and developing scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data architectures and data models.

  • Develop and maintain database structures, schemas, and data integration solutions.

  • Analyze data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Support data integration, migration, and transformation efforts.

  • Ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and reliable.

  • Collaborate with software developers, data engineers, analysts, and other technical teams.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and data architecture standards.

  • Evaluate existing data environments and recommend improvements.

  • Support data quality, governance, and security initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in data architecture, data engineering, database development, or a related discipline.

  • Active Top Secret security clearance.

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, database design, and data integration.

  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.

  • Experience with modern data platforms, cloud technologies, or data integration tools is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.
