Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a cardiology-focused Epic analyst who understands both the technical platform and the clinical workflows that drive cardiovascular care. The ideal candidate has experience supporting Epic Cupid and understands how cardiology departments operate across non-invasive testing, cath lab, and EP lab environments. Strong candidates will have hands-on experience with CPACS integrations, speech recognition/dictation platforms, and the flow of information between ordering providers, cardiology staff, medical records, and billing teams. Someone who can bridge clinical operations, imaging systems, documentation workflows, and Epic build will stand out. Candidates coming from large health systems supporting cardiology service lines, cath labs, or cardiovascular informatics environments would be especially attractive for this role.

Skills and Requirements

  • Epic Certification (Cupid strongly preferred)
  • 3+ years of Epic analyst, healthcare IT, or application support experience
  • Strong understanding of cardiology workflows, including non-invasive cardiology and Cath/EP lab operations
  • Experience supporting workflow analysis, application build, configuration, and optimization
  • Knowledge of cardiology documentation, orders, results, billing, and medical records workflows
  • Experience troubleshooting integrated healthcare applications and interfaces
  • Understanding of data flow between cardiology systems and Epic
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
  • Epic Cupid Certification
  • Experience with CPACS (Cardiology PACS) platforms
  • Experience supporting speech recognition or cardiology dictation systems
  • Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab operational experience
  • Cardiology clinical background or direct experience supporting cardiology departments
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Experience supporting third-party systems outside of Epic
