Full job description
We are seeking a Medical Technologist who will perform clinical laboratory tests or procedures to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Analyzes test results to ensure their accuracy prior to reporting.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Perform clinical laboratory tests, following procedures for specimen collection, handling, and processing, as well as test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of test results.

Prepare reports of technological findings by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.

Follow quality control policies.

Document information appropriately in systems.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Maintain supply inventory by monitoring stock and conserving laboratory resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science accredited by NACCLS or a related field.

Graduate of a medical technology program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).

Current certification/registration as determined by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).

Additional education may substitute for required experience, and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $49,200 - $86,200 Annually ($57,000 targeted, Commensurate with Experience)
