As our Health Information Management (HIM) Specialist, you will help maintain the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of patient health records while supporting compliance and continuity of care. Every day you will analyze health records, monitor record deficiencies and delinquency workflows, and scan, index, and quality review medical record documents. To thrive in this role, you must be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Here's what you will experience working as an HIM Specialist:

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient records through record analysis, scanning, and quality review.

Support deficiency monitoring, EMR data integrity, and regulatory compliance activities.

Assist with registry maintenance and documentation workflows that support patient care and reimbursement.

Partner with HIM leadership to achieve departmental goals and performance standards.
Required Skills:
-
Minimum one year of office experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.

Strong communication, organization, customer service, and attention-to-detail skills.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.61 - $22.95 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
