Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support Signature Healthcare in Brockton, MA. This is a 12-13 week contract opportunity created to provide coverage for a pharmacist who will be out on medical leave.

This position is a primarily administrative, desk-based clinical pharmacist role focused on medication management, treatment plan oversight, and regulatory compliance rather than direct patient care. The Clinical Pharmacist will work closely with providers and care teams to review medication therapies, evaluate clinical appropriateness, ensure compliance with established guidelines, and make recommendations that support safe and effective patient outcomes.

Responsibilities: Review and evaluate medication therapies for appropriateness, safety, efficacy, and compliance with clinical guidelines Analyze treatment plans and provide recommendations to physicians and care teams Review medication dosing for patients ranging from neonates through geriatrics Monitor and manage anticoagulation therapies, including medication selection, dosing considerations, and monitoring parameters Review medication reconciliations and identify potential medication-related issues Assess drug interactions, contraindications, adverse reactions, compatibilities, and therapeutic outcomes Conduct clinical reviews using pharmacy literature, research, and reference resources Support adverse drug reaction monitoring and reporting initiatives

Skills and Requirements

Active Massachusetts Pharmacist License Knowledge of anticoagulation medications, monitoring practices, and therapy management Complete knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics Experience with drug compatibilities, drug interactions, toxicology, and dosing parameters Ability to review medication therapies and dosing for patient populations ranging from neonates to geriatrics Strong oral and written communication skills
