Full job description

FGG Spa, LLC. is expanding our team and looking for an Entry-Level Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our growing organization. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers, data, and Excel.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, identifying discrepancies, and keeping financial information accurate and organized. The right candidate will have strong Excel skills, solid clerical experience, and a willingness to learn and grow within an accounting role.

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in accuracy, can manage multiple priorities, and is comfortable working independently. This role will work closely with our accounting team and provide exposure to a variety of financial reporting and accounting processes within a growing, multi-location organization.

Role Responsibilities

The chosen candidate will support a variety of accounting and reporting functions across the organization.

Responsibilities will primarily include data processing, maintaining accurate financial information, and supporting various reporting needs. This will include compiling and organizing data, preparing rankings and reports, and assisting with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting.

This role will also be responsible for performing account and data reconciliations, researching discrepancies, and ensuring information is accurate and complete. The position will require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies or errors within large amounts of data.

Additional responsibilities may include assisting with general bookkeeping and clerical accounting tasks, maintaining organized records, and supporting the accounting team with various projects and reporting needs. As with many roles in a growing organization, responsibilities may evolve to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of clerical, administrative, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred

  • Strong Excel skills are required

  • Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and large amounts of data

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to identify discrepancies and research information to resolve issues

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines

  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned tasks

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Accounting coursework, degree, or bookkeeping experience is a plus

  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, or Business Intelligence systems is a plus
