Deliver Outstanding Service to Every Patient!

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a customer-focused Procedure Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to providers by scheduling complex medical procedures and meetings, and overseeing the authorization from insurance companies for those procedures.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and schedule complex medical procedures, testing, and pre-op appointments.
  • Obtains insurance authorizations and oversees the management of consent forms for surgical procedures.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
  • Maintains accurate patient records and updates the EHR system
  • Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
  • Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
  • Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.

General Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience as a Surgery Scheduler or equivalent training, or demonstrated proficient performing all Medical Reception core functions (check in, check out and phones) of equivalent combination of experience, education and training. Experience in scheduling medical procedures or appointments is highly preferred.
