Job Details

Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation is looking for an Occupational Therapist to work in our outpatient pediatric rehabilitation program.

Our outpatient pediatric rehab clinic sees children from birth to adolescence in a multidisciplinary program.

An Occupational Therapist (OT) helps patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and independence following illness, injury, surgery, or disability.

  • Evaluates and treats physician-referred patients by organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs.

  • Facilitates rehabilitation of the mentally or physically handicapped.

  • Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.

  • Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, and promotes and maintains health.

Requirements:

  • NY State Occupational Therapy License and registration.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Pediatric rehabilitation experience is preferred

Salary Range

USD $45.96 - USD $57.50 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
