Full job description

Position Summary

Arts & Science is seeking a dynamic Program Administrator to join the Museum Studies Program. This individual will m anage services involving faculty, students, and administration for the program; advise students of offerings and requirements; implement policies and procedures; develop and maintain program website; manage the program budget, including grant accounts; prepare annual and interim reports, analyze trends, and projects; supervise staff, and plan program events and activities.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's degree andRequired Experience:2 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience overseeing office activities, staff supervision, budget administration, and special events planning.Preferred Experience:Experience in an academic environment.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and web-based applications (e.g., CMS, HTML).

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000 to USD $82,500. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
