Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Setting- Maple Valley, WA
A school partner is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year . This is a full-time opportunity working with an elementary caseload in an inclusive educational environment.
Position Details

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract Length: 40 weeks

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Grade Level: Elementary

Caseload: Approximately 40-50 students

Interview Process: Virtual interview with SPED Director

Timekeeping System: MaxView Timeclock
Responsibilities
-
Perform speech and language evaluations for students.
-
Develop, implement, and document therapy services according to student IEPs and physician orders, as applicable.
-
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
-
Comply with all professional, federal, state, and local requirements.
Minimum Requirements
-
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment.
-
CCC-SLP preferred and may be required based on state or contract requirements.
-
Compliance with all professional standards of practice.
-
Current CPR certification, if applicable.
-
TB screening, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulation.
-
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Compensation

Local SLP: Up to $90/hour

Travel SLP: Competitive travel package available

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.
Minimum Requirements:

Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
-
Current CPR if applicable
-
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
