Required License/Registration/CertificationEmergency Medical Technician (EMT) and valid Driver’s License; American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for the Healthcare Provider valid for at least 6 months after employment date.

Physical RequirementsThis position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; working at heights above four feet; and exposure to risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; loud noises; temperature extremes; and blood-borne/airborne pathogens; intermittently requires working in confined spaces; and occasionally requires job-related travel (less than 10% of time), exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, radiation, burns, cuts/punctures, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people.

ShiftMust be able to work three, 12-hour shifts per week; will also be required to work some weekends and holidays

Operating in a fast-paced and often high-pressure environment, the EMT is responsible for assessing patient conditions, providing essential medical assistance, and ensuring patients are safely transported to healthcare facilities.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/ExperienceA minimum of one year of related experience is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will have a background that includes, but is not limited to, performing patient assessments, providing basic medical care and life support, as well as measuring and monitoring vital signs.
