Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting specialist who can manage complex reconciliations, support accurate financial reporting, and strengthen day-to-day accounting operations. The position will also contribute to process improvements and system-based efficiencies, including work within NetSuite and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities:

• Lead detailed reconciliations across bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts to ensure alignment with the general ledger.

• Oversee month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries and account analysis.

• Manage accounting records in NetSuite and QuickBooks, maintaining accuracy and consistency across financial data.

• Support revenue recognition and related accounting treatment in accordance with ASC 606 standards.

• Help design and improve accounting workflows, including automation opportunities and development of the fixed assets module in NetSuite.

• Assist with audit readiness by organizing documentation and supporting financial statement audit requests.

• Review ledger activity and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain reliable reporting.

• Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen accounting processes within a technology-focused environment. Requirements • Hands-on accounting experience using NetSuite in a detail-focused environment.

• Practical knowledge of QuickBooks for day-to-day accounting operations and reporting.

• Strong background in account reconciliations, including cash, credit card, and general ledger tie-outs.

• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.

• Working knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.

• Prior accounting experience in a public accounting firm or within the technology sector is preferred.

• Comfortable working in a computer-based environment and using digital tools effectively.

• Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
